Hi everyone,
I know I’ve not been blogging for quite awhile now and that’s because I’ve been really lazy to do so.
Anyway, been doing the breakfast shift for almost 3 months now…
I actually told my chef that i wanted to be back in the kitchen cooking REAL food and not doing eggs all the time.
Unfortunately my request was denied for whatever reason that I’m not told of.
Cause I’ve been at the egg station for quite awhile now, I’ve somehow managed to be given a new nickname by my colleagues.
So as of now, I’m called ‘The prince of breakfast station’.
Really LOL right??? At first i was called ‘Waffle Wayne’ and now this. -_-”
Anyway, today’s breakfast was quite ’slow’. Not much guest woke up for breakfast, which is a good thing and that gave me and Kevin a little ‘FUN’ time.
We made had lots of really ‘bo liao’ conversations and really laugh till our stomach started to ache.
While watching the lobsters moving around the tank, minding their own business, I suddenly had this really crazy idea….
I bet you guys have wondered how it feels like to experience something that the normal average person won’t dare to do right?
Remembered when I said that i had a crazy idea while looking at the lobsters?
Well, that idea of mine was……………
TO GET PINCHED BY A LOBSTER!!!!!
So i told Kevin….
Me: “Eh kevin, I wanna know how it feels like to get pinched by a lobster.
Kevin: “YOU SEOW AH!!!!!”
Me: “But don’t you wanna know what it feels like too?”
Kevin: “Ya, but but but….. thinking of it is 1 thing, doing it is another.”
Me: “Never mind, I wanna try.”
Kevin: “Ok ok… I get the one with the smallest claw.”
Me: “No no… If wanna do, get the one with the biggest claw.”
So kevin chose a lobster with a HUGE claw.
Kevin came up with a plan, he suggest that we do this stunt under a controlled enviroment.
He will hold both tips of the claw firmly so that when the lobster decides to snap it’s claw, kevin could pull it apart and i could free my finger.
So we went on to do the stunt.
The 1st few tries was rather unsuccessful, the lobster just wouldn’t close it’s claw on my finger.
On the fifth try without any warning, the lobster closed it’s claw and kevin started pulling the both ends apart but he was unsuccessful.
So i had no choice but to pull my finger out from the lobster’s grip.
According to Kevin, he was surprised that the lobster’s grip was quite powerful.
So do you guys wanna know how it feels like???
Hmmm….. how should i put it?
Well, the pain that i felt was not ‘cutting’ sort of pain but rather the ‘crushing’ type.
If you guys wanna know how it feels like without getting pinched by a lobster, just put your finger between 2 chopsticks and get a friend to clamp down on the 2 chopsticks, the feeling should be the same.
BTW, you better be sure that the friend you’re getting to help you on the experiment is a real friend.
